From the WSOP to the English Poker Open

The WSOP Main Event Day 6 gets underway today and sadly, there are no Team Cake players left in the remaining 185 players.

But believe it or not, there are other live poker tournaments besides the WSOP. It’s true. In fact, Cake Poker player Starbucks! has been taking advantage of Cake’s plentiful online qualifiers to live events. He qualified for the WSOP Main Event, last weekend’s Playboy Mansion Celebrity Charity tournament and now he’s scored himself a $7,000 English Poker Open prize package, all through Cake Poker’s online poker satellites.

Another Team Cake WSOP Main Event prize package winner was soxnation. He will be joining Starbucks! in London as he also won himself a $7,000 English Poker Open prize package.

But qualifying for live poker tournaments isn’t the only way to make big money through online poker. CaHu4 found this out when he won the Cake Poker $100,000 Guranteed tournament last night for a $24,000 payday.
