Erica Schoenberg Is Dating Erick Lindgren

Model-turned-poker-player Erica Schoenberg is being linked with poker pro Erick Lindgren

Up to now if you spotted poker pros Erick Lindgren and Erica Schoenberg together, it was probably facing off at the poker table. But now the two are being romantically linked after being seen together in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. 

The two poker pros were seen having dinner together in Las Vegas last week, which by itself wouldn’t mean much. But when Schoenberg went deep in the LAPC main event – she finished 42nd – Lindgren was there to sweat her the whole way, and the entire poker media got the signal they were together when the two kissed in front of the Commerce media table.

Erica Schoenberg is a former professional model and blackjack player who first broke through in the poker world with a 16th-place finish at the 2006 WPT Championship. She scored her first career tournament win in a preliminary event at the 2007 Mandalay Bay Poker Championship and later that summer made the final table of a $1,500 WSOP no-limit hold’em event, finishing in third place. Despite winning more than $700,000 since her breakthrough, Schoenberg is still known to many poker fans mostly as the former girlfriend of French poker pro David Benyamine. 

That should change now that she’s with Erick Lindgren. He, of course, is one of the most successful tournament poker players of the poker boom. Long considered one of the best players never to have won a WSOP bracelet, Lindgren finally broke through in 2008 with a win in the $5,000 Mixed Hold’em event and then followed it up with final table appearances in the $5,000 Deuce-to-Seven Lowball and $50,000 HORSE events to win the 2008 WSOP Player of the Year award. He is also a former World Poker Tour Player of the Year, having won two events on the WPT and made the TV table of two more. All told Lindgren has 24 WSOP cashes and nearly $7.4 million in career earnings, ranking him 22nd on the all-time money list.
